In this Serbian place people REVOLTED because of – SHUTTING DOWN OF LIBRARY!
Due to the closure of library in Kljajicevo, residents, to express dissatisfaction, will gather on Saturday at 11 am - outside the library!
With rationalization in the public sector, it was decided that 25% of employees at the City Library "Karlo Bijelicki" are surplus, and with the library decision, all the weight of the rationalization fell down on the Sombor villages, reports sombor.tv.
Residents of Klaicevo are aware that this decision, which predicts that the branch >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Telegraf.rs << in Kljajicevo will work only for day or two in a week, with no guaranties that it won't lead to the total shut down of the library, will lead to the complete devastation of the already poor offer of cultural facilities in the village, decided to express their dissatisfaction with gathering on Saturday at 11 am - outside the library in Kljajicevo.
Organizers invite all residents of Kljajicevo to respond to the call and not to allow further erosion of quality of life in our village, because instead of discussing how to improve the quality of library services, that they are even more important center of population in the country of assembly, to be a generator of cultural activities, with the decision of the City Library it all comes down to running form which undoubtedly will lead to putting out this important institution in our city.
