Housing for more refugee families in Serbia
Serbia’s European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic on Tuesday signed documents to secure housing for 135 refugee families who fled to Serbia from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia during the wars of the 1990s.
The amendments to agreements that Joksimovic signed are part of the Regional Housing Program and they include financing for the construction of another 350 apartments for refugees. The number of refugee families that have been given housing in Serbia now totals 1,847.

The Regional Program was set up to provide housing for 26,898 refugee families in the region. Those families have more than 74,000 members, including 16,000 in Serbia. More than 110 million Euros in grants have been approved for eight projects in Serbia which is the biggest beneficiary of the program.
