Gun licence in Serbia 100 €, up to ten weapons per permit
The replacement of the old firearms licences with the biometric ones will cost the owners a 100 Euros, according to unofficial data by National Weapon Association (NAOS), carried by the Vecernje novosti daily on Thursday.
NAOS says that 600,000 people in Serbia own legal weapons and that they have nine months to replace the licences.
There are two different firearms permits for civilians – one for keeping, and the other for carrying them.
On top of new licences, the Law on Weapons and Ammunition in force since 2016, stipulates that the owners can register up to 10 guns or riffles per permit.
