Four more dead from West Nile virus in Serbia
The West Nile virus has claimed the lives of 15 people in Serbia to date, the Beta news agency reported quoting the latest report from the national Public Health Institute.
The previous report from the Institute said that 11 people had died of ailments directly connected to the virus which is carried by mosquitoes.
A total of 159 cases of West Nile virus have been reported across the country, with 78 of them registered in Belgrade, the Public Health Institute said.
