Debts to Serbian banks reduced in August
The Serbian economy and its citizens owed more than 2 billion Dinars (1 Euro – 119 Dinars) in loans at the end of August or 2.4 percent less than in July, the Serbian Association of Banks said on Friday.
The economy, private individuals and entrepreneurs owed 2.263 billion Dinars, the Association said and specified that the economy owed 1.274 billion Dinars (or 5.1 percent less than in July) while entrepreneurs and the population raised their debts by 1 percent to 49.6 billion >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Dinars and 1.4 percent to 938.9 billion Dinars respectively.
All three sectors reported NPLs. Repayment of 7.5 percent of the loans to the economy fell late along with 6.9 percent of loans to entrepreneurs and 3.7 percent of loans to the population, the Association said.
