Brnabic: I will remain head of Serbian Government
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said she will remain head of the Serbian Government after a conflict with the Serbian Minister of Technological Development Nenad Popovic amid his call to prevent the distribution of the Croatian colour books in Serbia.
Brnabic told the Blic daily that it was true that Friday was one of the most difficult days for her in office. "My love for Serbia, the belief that this country can achieve much more and my personal responsibility to get the job done – so that the citizens can enjoy better life through their earnings, careers, greater choices in life, prosperity for their families; these are my motives for accepting the position of Prime Minister and why I remained in office," she said.
Minister for Technological Development Nenad Popovic said that he did not quarrel with anyone during the Government session because of his twit but said he would not change his attitude.
"I respect the Prime Minister of (Ana Brnabic), but I demand that she respects my opinion, that I have the freedom to express what I am thinking," he said.
Prime Minister Brnabic and Minister Popovic clashed on Friday at the Government session following the twit of Minister Popovic, calling for the prevention of distribution of Croatian picture books in Serbia because they showed same-sex parents with children.
