Boy dies in traffic accident on Serbian mountain resort
A 10-year old boy was killed when the driver of a passenger car hit a column of children crossing a road at the Divcibare mountain resort on Tuesday morning, Belgrade media reported.
Two girls were seriously and 10 others lightly injured in the incident. The children from the town of Subotica were on a school trip on Mt Maljen and were due to return home later in the day.
The two injured girls were taken to hospital in the town of Valjevo and are not in critical condition. >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Belgrade media reported that the driver failed to stop and swerved to the left, hitting the children on the sidewalk.
A police statement said the driver was arrested at the site of the accident.
