Beta news agency marks 24 years of reporting
A group of Belgrade’s journalists founded the independent and private news agency Beta on May 4, 1994, starting its service from Serbia, the then SR Yugoslavia and a number of world’s centres.
Today, Beta agency is available on the Internet and mobile devices’ platform, carrying a modern, multimedia informative content both for its users and a wider audience.
In 2003, Beta launched the Radio Sto Plus in Novi Pazar, the centre of the Sandzak south-western region >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << in Serbia, mostly populated by the Bosniaks.
The agency also created websites for ecology “Green Serbia”, European Union politics “Euractive Serbia”, as well as a non-governmental organisation “Media Centre Beta”
