Belgarde's official: Guests spend 20 mil Euros in Belgrade
During the EuroLeague basketball Final Four tournament's visitors spent between 18 and 20 million Euros in the last several days, the city manager said on Monday.
Goran Vesic said Belgrade would also apply for the Final Four tournament organisation in 2020, since, as he added, the EuroLeague officials were extremely satisfied with the city’s performance this year.
Some 15,000 fans flooded Belgrade in four days, the official data said.
The information about the cost of the organisation was not available immediately.
Spanish Real Madrid won their 10th European basketball title in Belgrade on Sunday.
