US won’t blindly accept Belgrade-Pristina agreement
State Department official Matthew Palmer said on Thursday that Washington will not blindly accept any agreement reached by Belgrade and Pristina but warned that Kosovo must remain multi-ethnic once it is reached.
There are no red lines in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, he told Pristina daily Koha Ditore which said that Palmer did not exclude the possibility of an exchange of territories or a correction of the border between Serbia and Kosovo.
He said the Serbian and Kosovo parliaments should be involved in the dialogue along with the two presidents, adding that the status of Kosovo is not a topic in the talks with Serbia.
