US Embassy tweets video of Serbian scientist Pupin

The US Embassy in Belgrade publish a video on its Twitter account honouring Serbian-American scientist Mihajlo Pupin.

“The Serbian flag flew over the White House and all buildings and public institutions in the capital of the United States 100 years ago thanks to one of you,” the embassy said in its tweet.

The 100th anniversary of the raising of the Serbian flag over the White House will be marked with a ceremony in Congress which will be hosted by Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
