Military pensioners call SNS letter they got 'hypocritical'
Syndicate association of retired military officers of Serbia addressed Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, saying they were humiliated by “the hypocritical letter” they recently received in envelopes of Vucic’s Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).
The letter that the pensioners across Serbia are receiving these days, the association said, is a continuation of “the underestimating of generations” who were highly educated, performed the most responsible jobs and who achieved >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << above the average pensions in the pension-disability fund.
“Do you really believe you can compensate with this letter the damage you caused us and the state in your reforms,” the association representatives asked Vucic, adding that they expected at least to get back the unpaid part of pensions along with interest rates.
“You cannot reassure us that we entered ‘a golden era’ while you’re avoiding to pay back the pensioners the unpaid part of pensions they were deprived of,” the syndicate association said.
Serbian pensioners started receiving “letters of thanks” from Serbia’s President and SNSD leader Aleksandar Vucic as of November 16, which triggered reactions of the many including the Commissioner for Personal data Protection who launched a procedure in the Pension Disability Fund and Secretariat-General of the President in order to determine how SNS got access to names and addresses of pensioners in Serbia.
