Srpski veslači Nenad Vasić i Miloš Beđik jedni su od najvećih tragičara prvog dana Olimpijskih igara u Riju. Oni su se u finišu trke na 2.000 matara prevrnuli usled velikog talasa na jezeru.
Do tada bili su trećeplasirani, ali im je kasnije, posle žalbe našeg olimpijskog komiteta na užasne uslove za trku, dozvoljeno da učestvuju u nedelju u repesažu.
Napoznatiji svetski mediji dali su veliki značaj prevrtanju Srba.
