Thaci heads Kosovo delegation in Brussels
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci arrived in Brussels on Tuesday evening ahead of a meeting with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic and European Union High Representative Federica Mogherini.
A statement from Thaci’s cabinet said he was in Brussels at the head of a delegation which includes Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli and others.
The >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Beta news agency reported that there was no confirmation that the entire delegation would take part in the high-level meeting which is part of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue aimed at normalizing their relations.
Pristina media reported that Thaci plans to discuss Kosovo’s European prospects and the liberalization of the visa regime. The media said that opposition parties refused an invitation to be part of the delegation.
