Serbia’s official briefs US senators on Kosovo talks
The head of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo spoke to a US Senate delegation about the political and security situation and the status of the Serbs in Kosovo, the Beta news agency reported on Thursday.
A statement from his Office said Djuric informed the senators about “the perspectives” of the Belgrade and Pristina dialogue in Brussels facilitated >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << by the European Union.
He told the senators that Pristina had been blocking the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM), a part of the First Brussels Agreement, for the last five years.
“Belgrade will continue to search for a compromise. It is the question of our survival and the economic development,” Djuric told the delegation.
