Robert Cooper: Belgrade needs clear policy on Kosovo

Serbia won’t succeed unless it adopts a clear policy on Kosovo and won’t achieve anything unless it recognises Kosovo, Sir Robert Francis Cooper, a British diplomat, a former mediator in the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue and a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations, told N1 on Wednesday.

Addressing the eight Belgrade Security Forum conference, Cooper added that how and when Serbia would do that >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << was up to it, but that that should be done at a certain point.

The three-day conference “Finding Answers together to the New Normal”, organised by Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, Belgrade Centre for Security Policy and European Movement in Serbia, gathered 700 participants from Serbia, the region and other parts of Europe and the world.

It will have 20 panels with 111 speakers.

One of the most crucial conference’s topics will be a new phase of the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue.
