OSCE concerned over ban on humanitarian football match

The OSCE mission in Kosovo on Monday expressed concern over the ban on a humanitarian football match between Red Star Belgrade and the local FC Gracanica.

Every effort should be invested for sports events to be held successfully and to remove political, provocative or offensive slogans from them. The rules of the UEFA and other organizations are very clear and should be fully respected, the mission said in its written statement. The OSCE mission said that political issues >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << should be separated from sports events and called the two football organizations to find a way for the planned match to go ahead since it is humanitarian and important to the local community.
