Kosovo's Thaci: Belgrade-Pristina dialogue at final stage
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said that Kosovo had no reason to give in during the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, which has entered the final stage with the meeting held in Brussels on Sunday.
Speaking for Deutsche Welle (DW) Albania, Thaci said that more factors than today will be included in the upcoming meetings and that a final, legally binding agreement of the two countries is being prepared.
“This >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << is an initial meeting, the first meeting of the final stage, that is. This will serve as the ground for further pace. I think that Kosovo owns resoluteness and responsibility for this process,” said Thaci.
He assessed that “a frozen conflict” between Kosovo and Serbia stopped both countries' progress and it posed a threat “for new conflicts.”
“We will be united in the future stages. We will reach the final agreement,” concluded Thaci.
