Kosovo Albanian mayor gets threat in Serbian
The Mayor of the southern part of the divided Kosovo town of Mitrovica Agim Bahtiri, an Albanian, has been receiving threats in Serbian by e-mail, the Kosovo Police said on Monday.
Bahtiri said that the message in Serbian came after his demand to open the bridge across the Ibar river which connects the Serb north and Albanian south of the town. The bridge was >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << renovated with funds from the European Union.
Police spokesman Avni Zahiti said the e-mail was sent to the municipal authorities not to Bahtiri’s personal e-mail, adding that there are no suspects yet.
