It will be hard to reach solution for Kosovo, president says
It is getting clear it will be hard to reach any solution for Kosovo, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Saturday.
“We will continue offering the peace and compromise, and ask what's possible, realistic, righteous and rational for Serb people and Serb state,” the president said.
According to Vucic, those in Serbia who seek for nothing and look forward to Serbia getting nothing at all should continue >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << to be happy, because it all goes in favour of their expectations that Serbia will gain nothing regarding Kosovo.
“When you hear what (Croatian Prime Minister Andrej) Plenkovic and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdic and some others advocate, then it becomes clear to all Serbs and citizens of Serbia who is fighting for preserving and achievement of our national and state interests,” Vucic said without explaining what exactly he referred to by mentioning the neighbouring countries' officials.
Vucic also said he expected his political opponents in Serbia to organize a celebration on occasion of the statements of some European officials and Albanians regarding the change of borders, but that, as the president pointed out, they forgot to say this meant the borders of independent Kosovo would not change.
“They deliberately worked on the integrity of independent Kosovo, while pretending to protect our state and national interest. This poses a huge problem to us,” he underlined.
Commenting on the sale of Serbia's Mining and Smelting Complex RTB Bor, the president said it was great and that he could not understand the criticism of opposition regarding this matter.
Vucic said he was glad about it and congratulated to the citizens of Bor and neighbourly settlements, stressing that the investments will have an influence on the lives of citizens in the region.
