EP official: Kosovo meets conditions for visa liberalisation
The head of the European Parliament (EP) Foreign Affairs Committee, said on Thursday that Pristina had fulfilled the requirements for visa liberalisation and that he expected the European Union states to recognise it and give the green light for the free movement of Kosovo citizens, the FoNet news agency reported.
RTK2 television quoted David McAllister as saying that the intengration of the South-Eastern Europe was a process which the regional countries had to pass through >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << helped by the EU.
Kosovo’s Minister for European Integration Dhurata Hoxha said she expected the liberalisation during the Austrian EU presidency, i.e., until the end of the year.
“We have met all conditions for visa liberalisation and started a campaign to inform the public. We are convinced that the integration is our only way and we expect a positive decision,” Hoxha said.
