CSM in final Belgrade-Pristina agreement Kosovo advisor says
The Kosovo President’s advisor Blerim Shala said on Tuesday that the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM) will not be formed before Belgrade and Pristina sign a final agreement to normalize their relations, KoSSev reported.
“There will be no Community with a binding agreement,” Shala told the T7 TV station.
“That issue will be included in a legally binding agreement and cannot be treated like a separate >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << subject but will be finalized in one of the annexes of the agreement,” Shala said.
Shala said the process of drafting the CSM statute is complex because of the disagreements between Belgrade and Pristina. The initiative to draft the statute was launched recently by the authorities in Pristina.
The forming of the CSM is part of the 2013 Brussels agreement reached by Belgrade and Pristina during their dialogue under European Union auspices in Brussels.
