Belgrade: no optimism ahead of Brussels talks

Serbia's President said he was disappointed with the West which, as he put it, would not even talk about who the Kosovo's territory belong to.

“They see it done, they believe that such stories would open the Pandora box. I told them that they opened that box in 2008 by disrespecting the UN Resolution 1244,“ Vucic said on Thursday (March 22).

Media close to the regime said that Western politicians, for the >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << first time openly, told Vucic that Serbia had to recognise Kosovo as an independent state. Same outlets also said Vucic was told to forget the idea about the divison of Kosovo, and that the most Belgrade could hope for was the Association of Serb Communities, ZSO, in Kosovo.

Pristina newspaper Gazeta reported that both Vucic and Kosovo's President HashimTaçi were included in discussion on division of Kosovo, but that allegedly Berlin put an end to it.
