The leader of the Freedom and Justice Party (SSP), Dragan Djilas, proposed Zdravko Ponos as the opposition's presidential candidate in the upcoming elections.

At the party’s Main Board session in Novi Sad, the SSP decided to propose to opposition partners Ponos as a joint candidate.

„I believe that Zdravko Ponos can beat Aleksandar Vucic,“ said Djilas.

Earlier, Serbian media wrote that Ponos, the then deputy leader of the People’s Party, was one of the potential opposition candidates for the presidential elections.
