Croatia

Over the past 24 hours, 1,936 new cases of the coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Croatia, and there have been 25 related deaths, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Tuesday.

Since the start of the epidemic in February 2020, 1,652,525 people have been tested for the virus, including 10,214 in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases in Croatia stands at 12,096, including 1,948 people who are hospitalised, of whom 192 are on ventilators.

Currently, 26,192 people are in self-isolation. Since 25 February 2020, when Croatia registered its first case of the infection, 294,874 people have contracted the novel coronavirus and 6,358 of them have died.

A total of 276,420 people have recovered, including 1,659 in the last 24 hours. As of 12 April, 595,369 doses of vaccine have been used, and 483,825 people have been vaccinated. Of them, 370,544 people have received the first dose, and 111,544 have received both doses.

For 1,737 people, there is no data on which dose they have received.

Bosnia-Herzegovina

A total of 966 people tested positive for the coronavirus and 81 passed away due to COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout the past 24 hours, while 1,052 people recovered, healthcare authorities reported on Tuesday.

Of the 2,934 people tested since Monday in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 572 were positive for the virus and 54 COVID-19 patients died. In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 962 coronavirus tests were conducted and 265 infections were confirmed, as well as 24 COVID-19 fatalities. Bosnia’s Brcko District also reported 129 new coronavirus infections and three COVI-19 deaths.

North Macedonia

Over the last 24 hours, 27 patients died from COVID-19-complications, while out of 4,045 tested people, 1,129 were infected with the coronavirus, North Macedonia’s Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

The death toll stood at 4,289, while 118,946 patients have recovered since the epidemic outbreak.

At the same time, 142,162 people have tested positive for the new virus.

On Tuesday, there were 19,927 active cases of the infection.

Kosovo

In the last 24 hours, 12 patients died from COVID-19-complications, and out of 3,788 tested people, 494 were infected with the coronavirus in Kosovo on Tuesday.

The death toll stood at 2,008, while 83,591patients have recovered since the epidemic outbreak.

At the same time, 482,413 people have been tested and 98,835 samples have returned positive for the coronavirus.

On Tuesday, there were 13,236 active cases of the infection.

 

Montenegro

Over the last 24 hours, ten patients died from COVID-19-complications, while out of 1,295 tested people, 224 were infected with the coronavirus in Montenegro, media reported on Tuesday.

The death toll stood at 1,391, while 94,643 people tested positive for the virus since the epidemic outbreak.

On Tuesday, there were 4,017 active cases of the infection.
