Serbian president says Air Serbia to fly from Nis
President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday that negotiations are underway with Air Serbia to introduce flights from the airport in Nis.
“I am convinced that this will be very important news,” Vucic told reporters in the Officers Club in Nis, adding that Wizz Air had discontinued flights between Nis and Malmo in Sweden because it didn’t have enough passengers.
He said the government will continue investing money in the Konstantin Veliki airport. The government will focus on developing the airport and the Ladjevci airport outside the town of Kraljevo after the French company Vinci takes over management of Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport.
