Visa-free regime for Kosovars in May 2019
The European Parliament (EP) Rapporteur for Kosovo said on Monday that due to some European Union member states opposition, Pristina could not get visa liberalisation before May next year, i.e. by the end of the EU institutions’ current mandate, the Beta news agency reported on Monday.
Igor Soltes suggested to Kosovo's institutions to continue meetings >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << with the EU countries’ foreign ministers and “convince them to vote for the liberalisation.”
He said that the three-year delay in the process of demarcation with Montenegro had prolonged the procedure of granting Kosovo visa-free regime for the Schengen zone.
