Pristina detains murdered Kosovo Serb leader secretary
Kosovo’s police ordered on Monday 48-hour detention to Silvana Arsovic, the secretary of the assassinated Kosovo Serb leader Oliver Ivanovic, suspected her of switching off cameras on the building outside which the murder took place, media reported.
The Pristina media published the information about the detention, but there was no official comment from Kosovo’s authorities.

“They mentioned an expert finding which they haven’t shown to the lawyers. Allegedly, the expert determined the responsibility for switching off cameras on our party’s premises at the time of Oliver’s murder and suspected Silvana,” Bozovic said.
She added “it is awful what they (Kosovo’s authorities) are doing to us! She (Arsovic) was loyal to him. She was sitting in the same room with him for 15 years.”
Bozovic said Arsovic was first invited to give a statement related to the investigation into Ivanovic’s murder to the police station in the north (where the majority of Serbs live), “what she had done several times in the past.”
“Then, in the station, she was told Pristina’s special prosecutor demanded she go there,” Bozovic said. She added Arsovic called her asking for a lawyer, and after that, the two did not have any contact. “I’m very worried.”
It is reported Aresovic would appear before a court on Tuesday.
