FM: No one offers Serbia whole Kosovo within its borders
Ivica Dacic, Serbia’s Foreign Minister said on Tuesday that Belgrade had a historic chance to get something for its people in Kosovo, the Beta news agency reported.
Speaking to the state RTS television, Dacic added that Belgrade – Pristina dialogue on normalisation of relations facilitated by the European Union would continue with talks about possible solutions.
“The options are >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << either to get something or lose everything,” Dacic said, adding that that could be rejected, but “we shouldn’t pretend to be naive since no one offers that Kosovo remains within Serbia’s borders as a whole.”
Commenting on the talks between US President Donald Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday that included the issue of the Western Balkans, Dacic said it was a proof that Belgrade managed to change the international community’s “cemented attitude” that Kosovo issue was a done deal.
