And really, everything is super slow in Sombor, but the heart of the people sparkles when someone mentions Jokic. Especially in elementary school "Dositej Obradovic", where we went to create birthday story about the guy who celebrates 22nd birthday on 19th February. The stories about Jokic and ihs inability to do one push up reached mythical status, and his gym teacher Katarina Naumov remembers his mischief and the approach.
- Nikola did not show enough will and desire at the moments. He wasn't really chubby, but he was a bigger boy, which was enough for you to think that he won't be in any serious sport. But he had great technique and he is really good with ball and he loves it.
- He is a third son, the difference in years between them is big, brothers were far more talented, but simply, something happened in first or second years of high school, and some "click" showed true talent. People who took over recognized it. Of course, we watched everything he does, and we saw what he did now. Everybody in family watches together because we know him outside school, we are happy as if he was a child from our family - said Katarina, while his colleague went to detail.

- There were some problems with athletics and gymnastics, but when it comes to grades, i always gave most for work and effort, so there was no problem with grading, it was A-B. When he comes, he visits us every time, he did that the last time he came, he is a great athlete and a great person, he dedicated extremely long time to the children in the yard without planing on doing so.
