...this poem is from year 2000 - it reminds me partially of how i felt when i came back to belgrade in 2001... Return to Belgrade 2000 In this grey town, Popa’s ‘white bone among the clouds’ the buildings stand still like shocked witnesses. Pigeons coo in the ruins of a high rise. Amidst dandelions and debris a security guard dozes in the sun in his hand a cigarette smokes itself . . . pigeons overhead, ash in his lap. Refugees sell Lucky Strike and Marlboro smuggled in from Kosovo they can smell a cop a mile off can disappear in a blink...

Legendary American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, one of the most influential musicians in history, is to hold a concert in Belgrade in June this year, Blic understands. ...the park used to be called Mitic's hole - Next to the Slavija Square, the plateau with the huge park represents the place informally called Miticeva Rupa, or 'Mitic's hole'. This is one of the best locations in the city, and yet there is a park there instead of some shopping mall or a bank or even an apartment building - how come? Početkom 70-tih godina 20. veka bio zaštitni znak jugoslovenske prestonice. Lep, visok i elegantan čovek u beloj uniformi, sa belim šlemom (poput londonskog bobija). Saobraćaj je regulisao na izlasku iz terazijskog tunela, kod Doma omladine ali i na Terazijama. Kažu da je završio višemesečni kurs baleta u Narodnom pozorištu u Beogradu i da je zato imao tako graciozne pokrete...
